MARCUS Morris scores a career-high 37 points as the Detroit Pistons edged the Portland Trail Blazers, 120-113, on Tuesday in Auburn Hills, Michigan (Wednesday, Manila time).
Morris had seven points in overtime, while reserve guard Ish Smith scored four of his 12 points extra minutes as the Pistons bounced back from a loss to the Celtics.
Smith also had seven assists and seven steals as Detroit notched its 29th win in 60 games.
Andre Drummond had a huge double-double of 19 points and 15 rebounds.
The Blazers suffered their second straight loss and 35th in 59 outings.
Damian Lillard scored 34, pulled down 11 rebounds and was an assist short of a triple-double.
CJ McCollum had 25 points and Jusuf Nurkic added 19 points.
