THE Grizzlies took charge early, led by as many as 30 points and cruised to a 110-89 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday in Memphis (Sunday, Manila time).
Tony Allen scored 19 points 7 of 12 shooting, while Marc Gasol matched that output, making six of 12 field goal attempts as the Grizzlies stretched their win streak to six games.
Jeff Green scored 14 and Zach Randolph came off the bench to also match that score, making six of 11 shots from the field for Memphis, which notched its 17th win in 25 games.
Jarell Martin scored 13, while Troy Williams and Andrew Harrison had 11 points each for the Grizzlies, who came up with a 31-16 first quarter and never let up.
The Warriors saw their win streak end at four.
Kevin Durant scored 21 and Steph Curry went 4 for 14 for 17 points for Golden State.
Ian Clark was the only other Warrior to score in double figures with 10.
Klay Thompson scored only eight points, also on 4 for 14 shooting, as the Warriors absorbed only their fourth loss in 24 outings.
