MANU Ginobili took over in the final minutes of the fourth quarter and the San Antonio Spurs halted Phoenix' five-game winning streak with a 108-101 victory over the Suns on Wednesday night (Thursday, Manila time).
Ginobili scored 11 of his 24 points in the final four minutes. Tim Duncan had 17 points and 13 rebounds while Kawhi Leonard added 14 for the Spurs, who were without point guard Tony Parker after he bruised a shin in their loss to the Clippers.
Channing Frye had 22 points for the Suns. Goran Dragic scored 18 points and Eric Bledsoe added 15. Miles Plumlee tallied 13 points and 13 rebounds.
