KEVIN Love posted 29 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists as he outplayed LaMarcus Aldridge in a matchup of the NBA's best power forwards where the Minnesota Timberwolves won 120-109 victory against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night (Thursday, Manila time).
Nikola Pekovic tallied 30 points and nine rebounds and Kevin Martin added 22 for the Timberwolves, who led by 32 in the second quarter and overcame a second half rally by Portland.
Damian Lillard finished with 36 points, six assists and six rebounds and Aldridge had 15 points and 14 boards for the Trail Blazers, who absorbed their fifth loss of the season.
