ANTHONY Davis scored 41 points and LeBron James added 22 points and 12 assists as the Los Angeles Lakers held off the Toronto Raptors, 132-131, on Wednesday for its second NBA straight win after a rough stretch on the road.

Davis went 13-for-17 from the field and 13 of 14 from the free-throw line. He was at his best in the final quarter, where he scored 10 points in the final 1:01 minutes and pulled off a key block on Scottie Barnes.
The Lakers, who went 3-10 after winning the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament in December, are now back at .500 (19-19) after a fitting follow-up to their win over the LA Clippers two days ago.
Barnes leads Raptors
Barnes scored 26 points and Pascal Siakam added 25 for the Raptors, who lost for only the second time in five games since acquiring RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley in a trade with the New York Knicks for OG Anunoby.
Raptors guard Dennis Schröder had 10 points and six assists against his former team.
