LEBRON James scored 25 points, grabbed eight rebounds and had seven assists as the Los Angeles Lakers held off the Clippers, 106-103, on Monday to snap a four-game losing streak in the NBA.

Lakers end slump

Anthony Davis added 22 points and 10 rebounds while Taurean Prince hit the tiebreaking trey in the endgame as the Lakers won for only the fourth time in their last 14 games since winning the NBA In-Season Tournament.

The Clippers, who were riding the crest of a five-game winning streak, were led by the 22 points of Paul George and the 22-point, 19-rebound double-double of Ivica Zubac. Kawhi Leonard added 15 points for the Clippers.

Late scare for Lakers

The Lakers led for much of the second half but didn't breathe easy until Norman Powell's three-point shot rimmed out at the buzzer.

"We've got to continue to get better," said James. "Try to use this to catapult (us to play) a little bit better. Better play from us, but it still don't take away from the fact of how we've been playing like the last 11, 12 games."
