TEAM LeBron James vs Team Stephen Curry is all set as both captains have revealed their rosters for the 2018 NBA All-Star Game on Thursday (Friday, Manila time).

In a conference call with league officials, James and Curry made their picks, with the Cleveland Cavaliers star making the first choice as he was the top vote-getter in the All-Star fan votes.

James chose to play with Golden State Warriors rival Kevin Durant and reunite with former Cavs teammate Kyrie Irving, along with the New Orleans Pelicans duo of Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins in his team’s starting lineup. The four-time NBA MVP, though, refused to say who he chose first, but added that the next All-Star draft should be televised.

“I can’t tell you that, man. I might have to kill you if I tell you that,” he said with a laugh in an interview with Ernie Johnson. “But I’ll tell you this, this thing should have been televised.”

Curious reunions also abound in James’ team as the Cavs star selected teammate Kevin Love among his reserves, bringing back the trio that led Cleveland to an NBA title and three straight finals appearances. Durant will also be reunited with former teammate Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Washington Wizards backcourt pair John Wall and Bradley Beal also stay teammates under Team LeBron. San Antonio Spurs’ LaMarcus Aldridge, New York Knicks’ Kristaps Porzingis and Indiana Pacers’ Victor Oladipo round out the reserves for Team LeBron.

Curry, on the other hand, went with Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo and Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid for his starting frontcourt while teaming up with Houston Rockets’ guard James Harden and Toronto Raptors’ DeMar DeRozan on the wings.

The two-time NBA MVP also refused to name who he chose first but he agreed with James that the next draft should be done in front of TV cameras.

The Warriors star, who missed out on picking his teammate Durant, made sure not to miss out in keeping other Golden State standouts as reserves in Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. Minnesota Timberwolves duo Jimmy Butler and Karl-Anthony Towns also stay teammates under Team Stephen.

Boston Celtics’ Al Horford, Portland Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard, and Raptors’ Kyle Lowry round out Curry’s reserves.
