Despite his shock over the three-team trade that sent Davis to the Dallas Mavericks for a package headed by Luka Doncic, James sent a heartwarming message to AD through his Instagram story on Monday morning, Manila time.
"Love you my dog! Go crazy over there," James said, posting a photo of them hugging on the court. "Woe 4L [for life], see you soon."

The two shared the historic 2020 NBA title during the bubble season after LeBron helped convince Los Angeles to trade for Davis in 2019 offseason.
They will next share the court, this time on opposite sides, on February 25 when the Lakers face the Mavericks for the first time since the blockbuster trade.
