THE G.O.A.T. comparisons are inevitable between Michael Jordan and LeBron James but there is one thing that sets His Airness over The King, according to one member of the Chicago Bulls' dynasty of the 1990s,

In comments that were recently published in the New York Post, former Bulls general manager Jerry Krause added his two cents with a pretty obvious dig against James who he compared to Jordan.

"I'll say this about (Jordan), he never came to me and asked for other players," said Krause, who helped orchestrate six NBA championships in two title runs for the Bulls organization with arguably the game’s greatest player as the centerpiece.

"He never came to me and asked me to draft a player. He never came to me to ask me to trade for a player. Never once did that happen. Part of it was he thought he was so darn good he thought he could win without them, I'm sure of that,” Krause pointed out.

“Michael was smart enough to understand the organization, and he understood what we had to do as an organization. ... He never complained to me."

James grabbed headlines the past few weeks after he went public with his demands to the Cleveland Cavaliers front office to add more talent to its roster, prompting a a much-publicized word war with TNT analyst and NBA legend Charles Barkley.

According to the four-time NBA MVP, the Cavs are in need of an additional playmaker.

The Cavs responded with a trade for shooting specialist Kyle Korver, offering to trade injured center Chris Andersen to free up a roster spot and holding a minicamp for free agent guards last Thursday.

League sources also noted that Cleveland is a possible destination for New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony, although the Cavs have reportedly rebuffed a trade for Kevin Love.
