LEBRON James came in an hour and half late for his press conference, which turned out to be a very brief one as he had a tight schedule ahead for his whirlwind visit in the country.
But for the throng of mediamen present to cover 'King James,' it was worth the wait.
The four-time NBA MVP shared his thoughts on the Pinoy basketball craze and how his Miami Heat head coach Eric Spoelstra had given him a heads-up on what to expect in Manila.
James will appear before a bigger crowd at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, where he is also expected to grace a skills challenge, among other activities, lined up by giant apparel firm Nike.
And with his day just heating up, James already made a commitment to Filipino fans: “Cant believe this is my first time here but definitely this is not gonna be my last!”
