LEBRON James kicked off his third visit to the Philippines with a special training session involving some members of the Gilas Pilipinas pool and a brief press conference on Saturday at the Kerry Sports Gym at Bonifacio Global City.
The NBA superstar showed off some moves and asked Gilas members like Kiefer Ravena, RR Pogoy, Ray Parks and teenager Kai Sotto to execute them during a 20-minute session before sitting down to answer questions forwarded beforehand by mediamen.
"First of all, I'd like to apologize because I promised to be back the last time I was here and it took a long time," said the 6-foot-8 Cavaliers star, who last visited Manila in 2015.
After wrapping up the Kerry Sports event, James was to proceed to the Mall of Asia Arena for his 'Strive for Greatness' show featuring some members of the Gilas pool before capping a whirlwind day-long trip with a visit to the Tenement in Taguig where a mural honoring him will be unveiled.
James will leave Sunday morning for China in the second leg of the 'Strive for Greatness' tour.
