THE Cavaliers rode a huge second quarter to beat the Philadelphia 76ers, 122-105, on Friday in Cleveland (Saturday, Manila time) and snap a three-game skid.

LeBron James showed the way for the Cavaliers, who led only by near the end of the first quarter before taking control and take a 70-52 advantage at halftime.

It was only the Cavaliers’ third win in the last eight games.

James scored 34 on 14 of 22 shooting, while Kyrie Irving went 11 for 16 and wound up with 24 points.

Kevin Love scored 18, making 6 of 14 field goal attempts as the Cavaliers notched their 48th win in 75 games.

The Sixers, coming off a win over the Brooklyn Nets, suffered their 47th loss in 75 outings.

Richaun Holmes and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot each had 19 points while Shawn Long came off the bench to score 16 for Philadelphia.
