    Cavaliers go wire-to-wire in Game Three to trim series deficit against Celtics

    THE Cavaliers got off to a strong start and never let up, ripping the Celtics, 116-86, in Game Three of the Eastern Conference finals on Saturday in Cleveland (Sunday, Manila time).

    LeBron James and the Cavaliers overpowered the Celtics, 32-17, in the opening period and cruised to victory to cut the series deficit 1-2.

    The Cavaliers look to even the series in Game Four on Monday also in Cleveland.

    James had a huge double-double of 27 points and 12 assists for the Cavaliers, who had twice previously gotten out of 0-2 holes.

    Kyle Korver came off the bench to deliver 14 points on an impressive 5 for 5 shooting, 4 for 4 from beyond the arc.

    Starting center Kevin Love also had a double-double of 13 points and 14 rebounds.

    George Hill and JR Smith also did much better after measly contributions in the opening two games in Boston, scoring 13 and 11, respectively

    Fil-Am guard Jordan Clarkson played 18 minutes, scoring nine on 3 of 11 shooting.

    Jayson Tatum went 6 for 10, finishing with 18 points for Boston.

    Terry Rozier had 13 points, while Jaylen Brown and Greg Monroe added 10 points each.
