LEBRON James shook things up in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, and not just with his game.
The Cleveland Cavaliers star sported the new Nike LeBron Soldier 10 in a standard Black/Ice colorway during the Cleveland Cavaliers resounding 120-90 win over the Golden State Warriors at Quicken Loans Arena.
The Cavs main man opted to use the sleek, laceless kicks, the team shoe in the LeBron line, in lieu of his signature postseason Elites. The move prompted speculation online among sneakerheads as to the reason behind the decision: Are there performance issues or is it simply superstition?
Observers also noticed that James picked a standard triple black colorway. “The King” added a personal touch by inscribing “BB2” with a sharpie on one of the three velcro straps (a Soldier line trademark) across the shoe’s upper.
The Nike Lebron Soldier 10 is expected to drop in retail stores this July.
