LARRY Bird believes it would be a close game, and he is pretty sure who would if he played Michael Jordan one-on-one now.
“God, I hate to admit this but he'd kill me,” Bird said on the Dan Patrick show.
Patrick told Bird in an interview about Jordan’s statement that he could beat anyone on his Charlotte Hornets team, one-on-one, drawing laughter from the Boston Celtics great.
But Bird, now 58 and the Indiana Pacers president, admits he sees Jordan, the Chicago Bulls great and now Bobcats owner, would
"I'm 40 pounds more than I was when I played, have broken down. I really don't care like I used to. I have a fight in me but not the fight I once had. But it would be a pretty close game."
