TOBIAS Harris scored 27 points to lead the Pistons to a 102-90 victory over the Charlotte Hornets in the two teams’ opening match on Wednesday in Detroit (Thursday, Manila time).
The Pistons led by only two points after the first period but outscored the Hornets, 27-18, in the second and never looked back.
Langston Galloway came off the bench to score 16 while starting guard Avery Bradley had 15 points for Detroit.
Kemba Walker had 22 points and added 15 for Charlotte.
New Hornets center Dwight Howard had a double-double of 10 points and 15 rebounds.
