The NBA 2022-2023 season gets going on Oct. 19, with the Lakers taking on the defending champion Warriors in San Francisco.

The two teams also clashed on opening night last season, Golden State getting a big win in Los Angeles.
Although far apart in power ratings, the matchup remains tantalizing with a Steph Curry and LeBron James meeting, even as the Lakers could parade a new-look support crew with Brooklyn’s Kyrie Irving linked to transfer news.
