JORDAN Farmar of the Los Angeles Lakers will miss four weeks of play after tearing his left hamstring, the team announced on Monday (Tuesday, Manila time).
Farmar left Sunday’s game against the Portland Trailblazers after playing just 56 seconds. He has been averaging of 9.2 points and 4.4 assists per game for Los Angeles.
Injuries in the guard positions have plagued the Lakers with Steve Nash only playing six games this season and franchise player Kobe Bryant still recovering from his surgically-repaired Achilles tendon.
