    Clippers win fourth in a row, deal Mavs seventh straight loss in matchup of NBA's best and worst

    AUSTIN Rivers scored 22 points and the Los Angeles Clippers dismantled the Dallas Mavericks 124-104 on Wednesday night (Thursday, Manila time) in a matchup of the NBA teams with the best and worst records.

    Chris Paul added 18 points for the Clippers who hold a league-leading 14-2.  DeAndre Jordan had 16 points and eight rebounds.

    The Clippers made a 30-6 run in the second and third quarters en route to their fourth straight win and 11th in 12 games.

    Harrison Barnes led the Mavericks (2-12) with 22 points. Dallas lost its seventh straight game to match its longest skid since February 1999.

    Dallas is off to its worst start since going 1-23 in 1993-94.

    Dirk Nowitzki added 10 points on 3-of-10 shooting in 20 minutes of action after missing eight games with a strained left Achilles tendon.
