KYRIE Irving returned after missing a game due to a bruised quad and the Celtics defeated the Denver Nuggets, 124-118, on Wednesday in Boston (Thursday, Manila time).
The Celtics bounced back from a huge loss to the lowly Chicago Bulls, posting their 24th win in 30 games.
Irving played 32 minutes, scoring 30 on 12 of 19 shooting.
The Celtics rested Al Horford but were in control for most of the match and were never threatened in the fourth.
Jaylen Brown scored 26 and Aaron Baynes added 17 points for Boston.
The Nuggets could not get a win run going after beating the Pistons, suffering their 13th loss in 28 games.
Gary Harris scored 36 and Jamal Murray added 25 for Denver.
