CARMELO Anthony hit an 18-foot jumper with two seconds remaining as the New York Knicks survived a huge late fightback from the Timberwolves, 106-104, on Wednesday in Minnesota (Thursday, Manila time).

The Knicks saw a 17-point fourth quarter lead erased as the Wolves tied it with less than a minute to play.

Anthony had 14 points, making 5 of 16 field goal attempts as the Knicks scored their ninth win in 18 games.

Kristaps Porzingis had 29 points for New York, which spoiled the 47-point 18-rebound performance of Wolves star Karl Anthony Towns.

Andrew Wiggins scored 19 for Minnesota, which absorbed its 13th loss in 18 outings.
