KOBE Bryant is back in the Philippines, his visit first since retiring from the NBA.
The Los Angeles Lakers hero is in the country for the ‘Mamba Mentality Tour’ and expressed his excitement as he reconnects with fans from this basketball-crazy country startting on Saturday morning at the Shangri-La Hotel The Fort.
"It's good to be back. It's exciting It's always fun to come here. (The fans) have so much passion for the game," said Bryant.
The 37-year-old Bryant showed he is still in great form, giving Filipino scribes a one-of-a-kind training experience at Kerry Sports Arena, an abbreviated version of his own training routine that had even the fittest sportswriters gasping for air.
Bryant, who last visited almost three years ago, is also slated to appear at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday afternoon.
