    Klay Thompson hits eight triples as Warriors take charge early and cruise to victory over Grizzlies

    THE Golden State Warriors took control early and never gave Memphis a chance to get back, cruising to a 122-107 victory on Friday in Memphis (Saturday, Manila time).

    Klay Thompson started the game with back-to-back triples and the Warriors completed the wire-to-wire win, recording their second straight win after a stunning loss to the Sacramento Kings.

    Draymond Green scored only four points, but came up with a rare triple double of 12 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals.

    Thompson wound up with 36 points, making 13 of 23 field goal attempts including 8 of 15 from the three-point line for the Warriors, who notched their 45th victory in 53 outings.

    Kevin Durant went 5 for 14  and finished with 24 points.

    Andre Iguodala made his presence felt, coming off the bench to deliver 22 points on a solid 6 of 7 shooting.

    Steph Curry made 6 of 13 shots, going 2 for 6 from beyond the arc.

    The Grizzlies saw their win streak end at three.

    Mike Conley scored 20 on 6 of 16 shooting for Memphis, which absorbed its 23rd loss in 56 outings.

    Mark Gasol scored 17, making 4 of 14 field goal attempts, while Zach Randolph came off the bench to also score 17, going 5 for 9.
