Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 19 and Buddy Hield added 17 as the Clippers took the win, 106-102.
De’Aaron Fox and Harrison Barnes each had 12 points.
The victory gives Sacramento a big boost ahead of the NBA restart, after dropping their first two tuneup games.
The Clippers, meanwhile, drop their final scrimmage after winning their first two.
Paul George scored 19 and Kawhi Leonard had 17 before being pulled out.
Marcus Morris had 18 points, while Joakim Noah came up with eight points and six rebounds.
The Clippers take on the LA Lakers on opening night of the seeding games on Thursday.
The Kings face the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.
