THE Cleveland Cavaliers have scored three straight wins for the first time this season, getting past the Hornets, 115-107, on Wednesday in Charlotte (Thursday, Manila time).
The Cavaliers did not have total control until late, with Kyle Korver hitting a triple for an 86-84 lead with a little over a minute left in the third and Cleveland outscoring the Hornets, 27-23, in the fourth.
It was the only the eighth win in 15 outings for the Cavaliers.
LeBron James had 31 points and eight assists, while Kevin Love had a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Jeff Green scored 13 off the bench, while JR Smith added 10 for the Cavaliers, who beat Dallas and New York before the Charlotte game. They started the road trip with a loss in Houston.
Charlotte, which led by six at halftime, suffered its fifth straight loss and eighth in 13 games.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 22 o 10 of 14 shooting, while Kemba Walker went 7 for 17 and wound up with 20 points.
