    Warriors ease to sixth straight wins as Rockets gunners fire blanks

    THE Golden State Warriors made it six straight wins, routing the Rockets, 125-108, on Friday in Houston (Saturday, Manila time).

    Kevin Durant scored 32 on 12 of 19 shooting, while Stephen Curry had 24 points, making 8 of 18 field goal attempts as the Warriors notched their 37th win in 43 outings.

    Klay Thompson came up with 16 points, Draymond Green added 16, while Zaza Pachulia scored 10 and was a rebound short of a double-double.

    The Rockets, who had been relying much on the trey, went just 7 for 35 from beyond the arc and absorbed their 13th loss in 46 games.

    Clint Capela led the way as the Rockets big guns struggled, scoring 22 on 10 of 16 shooting.

    James Harden wound up with 17 points, making none of five attempts from downtown.

    Eric Gordon also fired blanks from the three-point line, missing all seven attempts, going 2 of 14 overall from the field and wound up with six points.
