    Warriors ride huge second quarter to victory over Thunder, spoil Russell Westbrook's 47-point night

    THE Golden State Warriors used a huge second quarter to break a the game wide open, cruising to victory over the Thunder, 130-114, on Saturday in Oklahoma City (Sunday, Manila time).

    Kevin Durant showed the way for the Warriors, who used a 43-26 second quarter to take control en route to their third straight win.

    Durant scored 34 points on 12 of 21 shooting as Golden State notched its 46th win in 54 games.

    Steph Curry scored 26, making 9 of 19 field goal attempts including 4 of 11 from beyond the arc, while Klay Thompson matched the output by going 7 for 12 including 5 for 7 from downtown.

    JaVale McGee came up with 16 points on 7 of 8 shooting for the Warriors.

    The Thunder could not get a win run going after beating the titleholders Cleveland Cavaliers.

    Russell Westbrook scored 47 points, going 14 for 26, pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out eight assists.

    Victor Oladipo scored 20, while Steven Adams was the only other Oklahoma City player to score in double figures with 13.
