THE Golden State Warriors got back on track before the playoffs, defeating the lowly Los Angeles Lakers, 109-94, on Wednesday in Oakland (Thursday, Manila time).

Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green were rested, but Golden State still played with its Big Three against the lowly Lakers.

The Warriors took control early, 43-28, and were never threatened.

Kevin Durant and Steph Curry showed the way for the Warriors, who were coming off a loss to the Utah Jazz.

Golden State, which had earlier secured the top spot and homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs, wound up with a 67-15 win-loss record.

Durant scored 29 points on 11 of 16 shooting in 26 minutes, while Curry played 28 minutes and finished with 20 points, making 6 of 17 shots.

Klay Thompson played 26 minutes and scored 12 on 4 of 12 shooting.

The Lakers wound up with a 26-56 record, just a notch above West bottom team Phoenix Suns.

Fil-Am guard Jordan Clarkson scored 17, Tyler Ennis added 14, while Larry Nance and Julius Randle had 13 points each for Los Angeles.
