THE Golden State Warriors are one win away from a sweep of the Western Conference finals, downing the Spurs, 120-108, on Saturday in San Antonio (Sunday, Manila time).

Kevin Durant showed the way and JaVale McGee took advantage of a rare start as the Warriors eased to victory in Game Three of the best-of-seven series.

The Warriors are unbeaten in 11 games in these playoffs after sweeping past the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round and the Utah Jazz in the conference semifinals.

Golden State trailed by four after the first period but took control with a 35-22 second quarter.

Durant scored 33 on 11 of 19 shooting as the Warriors stayed on track for a third straight title showdown with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Steph Curry scored 21, while Klay Thompson added 17 points for Golden State.

The NBA champions are two games ahead of the East top seeds Boston Celtics in the conference finals and 10-0 in these playoffs after disposing of the Indiana Pacers and Toronto Raptors.

McGee led the Warriors’ fine start, scoring all of his 16 points in the first half.

Game Four is on Monday in San Antonio.

Manu Ginobili came up with a strong performance off the bench, but that was just not enough for the Spurs, who are without Kawhi Leonard. The MVP candidate suffered an ankle injury in the conference semifinals against the Houston Rockets and aggravated it in the series opener against the Warriors.

Ginobili played 18 minutes, scoring 21 on 7 of 9 shooting including 2 of 3 from beyond the arc.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 18 points and five rebounds, while Jonathon Simmons added 14 points.
