THE Detroit Pistons ended a three-game slide, using a huge fourth quarter to defeat the undermanned Phoenix Suns, 112-95, on Sunday in Auburn Hills, Michigan (Monday, Manila time).
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 23 on 8 of 14 shooting as the Pistons notched their 34th win in 70 games.
Andre Drummond had a huge double-double of 18 points and 18 rebounds, while Marcus Morris scored 16 for Detroit.
Reggie Jackson went 5 for 15 and wound up with 15 points and Aaron Baynes came off the bench to deliver a double-double of 13 points and 17 rebounds.
Devin Booker and Dragan Bender are bot out with right ankle injuries, Ronnie Price with a left leg injury, while Leandro Barbosa was out due to illness.
The Suns, at 22-48 just a notch above Western Conference cellar dweller Los Angeles Lakers, also held out Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight and Tyson Chandler.
Tyler Ulis led Phoeix with 17 points and Marquese Chriss scored 16.
