THE Hornets ended a five game slide and extended the Portland Trail Blazers’ skid to three with a 107-85 victory on Wednesday in Charlotte (Thursday, Manila time).
Charlotte used a 31-20 second quarter to take control and cruised to victory to even its record to 21-21.
Kemba Walker scored 23 on 8 of 14 shooting, Nicolas Batum had 17 points and Roy Hibbert added 16 points.
The Blazers absorbed their 26th loss in 44 outings.
Damian Lillard had 21 points, while CJ McCollum was the only other Portland player to score in double figures with 18 points. Both shot 7 for 18.
