THE Charlotte Hornets used a huge second quarter to take control and cruised to a 104-85victory over the Grizzlies on Monday in Memphis (Tuesday, Manila time).
Kemba Walker scored 21 points and Jeremy Lamb came off the bench to match that output as the Hornets made it back-to-back wins after downing the New York Knicks.
Michael Kidd Gilchrist had 14 points and Frank Kaminsky scored 12 as the Hornets recorded their 10th win in 17 games.
The Hornets outscored the Grizzlies, 31-14, in the second half were never threatened.
Marc Gasol had 19 points and Mike Conley scored 14 as the Grizzlies absorbed their seventh loss in 18 games.
Reserve Jarell Martin was the only other Memphis player to score in double figures with 11 points.
