LaMarcus Aldridge, Patty Mills come up with the big baskets as Spurs outlast Cavaliers in overtime

LAMARCUS Aldridge and Patty Mills came up with the big baskets in overtime to lift the San Antonio Spurs to victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, 118-115, on Saturday in Cleveland (Sunday, Manila time).

Mills hit a triple a little under two minutes left to give the Spurs the lead, 114-113.

Aldridge then hit a 20-footer to extend the lead to three, 116-113, with 38 seconds left, and the Spurs went on to score their second straight win.

Kawhi Leonard scored 41 points on 15 of 30 shooting as the Spurs notched their 34th win in 43 games.

Aldridge wound up with 16 points and Mills had 13.

The Cavaliers couldn't get a win run going after a vicgtory over the Phoenix Suns.

LeBron James scored 29 points on 11 of 16 shooting, while Kyrie Irving matched the output by making 13 of 22 field goal attempts.

Tristan Thompson scored 14 and Kevin Love added 13 for the Cavaliers, who absorbed their 11th loss in 41 outings.
