RICKY Rubio hit a career-high six triples as the Minnesota Timberwolves had a total of 12 treys in a 111-105 overtime victory over the Orlando Magic on Monday in Minneapolis (Tuesday, Manila time).
Andrew Wiggins hit a long jumper off a Rubio assists to tie the game at 98 with 10 seconds left and Karl-Anthony Towns blocked Elfrid Payton's three-point attempt as time expired in the fourth.
Wiggins finished with 27 points as the Timberwolves notched their 19th win in 38 outings.
Rubio wound up with 22 points, making 7 of 16 field goal attempts, including 6 of 9 from beyond the arc. The guard from Spain also had eight rebounds and eight assists.
Towns posted a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds as the Timberwolves scored back-to-back wins after downing the Nets.
The Magic could not get a win run going after defeating the Toronto Raptors, absorbing their seventh loss in the last 10 games.
Elfrid Payton scored 21 points for Orlando, which suffered its 30th defeat in 49 outings.
