    Justin Bieber, Jamie Foxx head list of A-listers in NBA Celebrity Game

    Justin Bieber is back to play in the NBA Celebrity Game.

    LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles, the city of angels where A-listers and the wannabes mingle to this town party central, knows how to throw a shindig.

    Well, it didn't disappoint when the 2018 All-Star festivities party kicked off at the Staples Center.

    Famous names and faces from the music and film industry took part in the annual Celebrity Game. Among those whose graced the hardcourt fun with their illustrious presence were Justin Bieber, rock star Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Academy award-winning actor Jamie Foxx, Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan and Caleb Mclaughlin, one of the lead actors of the Netflix hit Stranger Things.

    The Clippers team spearheaded by Foxx crushed Bieber's Lakers, 75-66. As Bieber once said in a song, Oh Baby.

    Rapper Quavo, of the hip-hop group Migos, was MVP and took home a trophy that he can put alongside his American Music Awards hardware.

    Meanwhile, in the Rising Stars Challenge, Team World prevailed over Team USA in an exciting showdown that elicited oooohs and aaaahs from the adoring Staples Center crowd.

    Serbian Bogdan Bogdanovic waxed hot with 46 points earning MVP honors for himself.

    GRETCHEN HO AND BEHOLD. 

    Hundreds of reporters from around the world were credentialed by the NBA for this event which will culminate with the All-Star Game on Sunday. The Philippine media had its fair share of representatives as TV giant ABS-CBN dispatched a crew led by the beautiful Gretchen Ho, a former star athlete turned TV personality.
