THE Brooklyn Nets are signing Justin Anderson as Wilson Chandler opts out of the NBA season restart, according to reports.

Chandler, headed for free agency after this season, said he is sitting out due to health concerns.

“As difficult as it will be to not be with my teammates, the health and well-being of my family has to come first. Thank you to the Nets organization for understanding and supporting me in this decision, and I will be watching and rooting for our team in Orlando,” Chandler told ESPN.

The Nets and 21 other teams see action in the NBA restart at Disney in Orlando.

Anderson, drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in 2015 and was also assigned to developmental league affiliate Texas Legends, is rejoining the Nets, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Anderson was with the Brooklyn Nets in January on a 10-day contract. He also played with the Philadelphia 76ers and Atlanta Hawks.

The Utah Jazz and New Orleans Pelicans play in the first match of the restart followed by a game between the Los Angeles Lakers and LA Clippers.
