JULIUS Randle had 25 points, nine rebounds and four assists, Lou Williams finished with 18 points and four steals as the Los Angeles Lakers beat the league-worst 76ers, 100-89, on Friday in Philadelphia (Saturday, Manila time) to end their eight-game skid.
The Lakers (11-18) started strong, scoring 30-18 in the first quarter and never trailed the entire game.
Philadelphia mounted a rally in the last period and managed to cut a 22-point deficit to just seven points, 94-87 with 2:18 remaining before Randle scored four straight points.
D’Angelo Russell and Nick Young scored 15 points apiece and are starting to recover their form after a stint in the injured list.
Jordan Clarkson added 10 points.
Joel Embiid had 15 points for the Sixers which has dropped eight straight home games and absorbed their 20th loss in 26 games.
