ALL set for his NBA return, JR Smith showed on Instagram Live the room, food and other things in the Lakers hotel, but was told to shut it down.
Smith, signed by the Lakers after Avery Bradley opted out of the NBA season resumption, wasn’t very pleased with the food, including chocolates in the room.
He also wasn’t very glad to see his blanket saying “They didn’t do that bro … I know Bron ain’t got this.”
Ahead of team practices, the players are required 48 hours quarantine and must test negative for the coronavirus twice.
Smith took a video of his teammates as they shared a few laughs while picking up the food delivered to their rooms.
It wasn’t clear who sent him a message, but before ending the video, Smith said he was told to shut it down.
"They mad at me bro … I'm gone. Just got the text. Exposing too much. Got to go. My bad. My bad."
Scrimmages are set July 22 to 28, with the first match of the season resumption set on July 30.
The Pelicans take on the Utah Jazz and the Lakers face off with the Clippers on the first day of the restart. A.Quinto
