THE LeBron James-JR Smith reunion at the Los Angeles Lakers is nearly a reality.
The Lakers are merely ironing out kinks of a contract that will sign Smith for the remainder of the season.
Marc Stein of the New York Times reported the development late Monday, Manila time, saying the Lakers are set to seal the deal in time for the deadline of the league’s “transaction window” on Wednesday, Manila time.
The Lakers are making the move after guard Avery Bradley decided to sit out the season owing to health concerns for his family, among other issues.
In comes the free agent guard Smith, who has reportedly been working out with the Lakers in a bid to team up with former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates James once again.
