Former Ginebra import Josh Powell makes Rockets bow in loss to Pelicans

JOSH Powell made his debut with the Houston Rockets on Wednesday in New Orleans (Thursday Manila time), after playing with Barangay Ginebra in the PBA.

Powell had four points, five rebounds, and a block in 19 minutes of action in a 100-105 loss to the Pelicans in their final regular season game.

The Houston Rockets website also posted Powell’s signing hours before their game on Thursday.

Powell played just one full game with Ginebra before getting the call from Houston on Sunday morning. He then had limited minutes in the Kings' game later that day.
