SALT LAKE CITY — Jordan Clarkson posted the first regular-season triple double by a Utah player in 15 years, leading the Jazz to a 127-90 home win over the Dallas Mavericks in NBA action on Monday (Tuesday, Manila time).
The Fil-Am guard tallied 20 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds for the first triple-double of his nine-year career. It was also the first by a Jazz player in a regular season game since Carlos Boozer pulled off the feat in Feb. 2008.

The 31-year-old Clarkson, a second-round draft pick of the Los Angeles Lakers in 2014, achieved the triple-double in his 685th regular-season game, and 728th game of his career. He has been with the Jazz since 2019.
Also, Clarkson's triple-double was the first in more than 40 years for a Jazz player coming off the bench, dating to Feb. 5, 1983, when Mark Eaton had 12 points, 14 rebounds and 12 blocked shots for the Utah franchise.

Simone Fontecchio topscored with 24 points for the Jazz, who won their fourth straight home game and are 8-3 in their last 11 games. They beat the Jazz for just the second time in their last 8 meetings.
Luke Doncic led the Mavs with 19 points, 14 assists and six rebounds.
