OHIO-based Filipinos got to spend some time with Jordan Clarkson in the first-ever Cavs Filipino Heritage Night on Monday in Cleveland (Tuesday, Manila time).
Clarkson, the Cavaliers' Fil-American star guard who has also seen action with Team Pilipinas at the Asian Games, had a meet and greet with members of the Philippine American Society of Ohio at The Q in downtown Cleveland.
Activities before the Cleveland-Toronto game included the usual high-five kids tunnel and a performance of the Filipino traditional dance “Tinikling” at centercourt.
It was a great return for the Cavaliers after losing two straight on the road.
The Cavaliers went on to rout the Raptors, 126-101, with Clarkson delivering 14 points off the bench and all starters scoring in double figures.
