JONATHAN Isaac showed his readiness to get back in NBA action, with the Orlando Magic taking a tuneup victory over the Nuggets even as Bol Bol continued to shine in the leadup to the season resumption.
It was a huge development for the Magic, who had been very cautious with Isaac’s return from a knee injury sustained in January.
Isaac had 13 points and seven rebounds as the Magic notched a 114-110 victory in the exhibition game.
Nikola Vucevic had 10 points and seven rebounds for the Magic, who play the Brooklyn Nets in their opener in the seeding games.
Bol came up with another solid showing while Nikola Jokic has a quiet night.
A forward-center on a two-way contract, Bol scored 10 points and pulled down six rebounds.
Jokic missed his only shot but had six rebounds and five assists.
Jamal Murray scored 23, while Paul Millsap added 13 points for Denver.
The Nuggets face the Miami Heat on Saturday.
