JOHN Wall had 25 points and 12 assists as the Washington Wizards rallied from a 16-point deficit to beat the Nets, 118-113, on Monday in Brooklyn (Tuesday, Manila time).
It was the second road win for the Wizards (7-12) who avoided getting blanked in their three-game road trip.
Brooklyn (5-15) came out shooting in the first two quarters and enjoyed a 66-51 advantage at the half.
The Nets were held scoreless on 3:34 stretch in the third period and the Wizards took advantage, going on a 13-0 run to make it 66-64. A free throw from Markieff Morris gave Washingon the lead, 75-74, in the five minute mark.
Seven Washington players scored in double figures. Bradely Beal and Otto Porter Jr. had 18 points apiece. Markieff Morris scored 16 to go along with four steals. Marcin Gortat grabbed 12 rebounds to go along his 10 points. Marcus Thornton added 11 markers.
Brook Lopez led the Nets with 25 points, six rebounds and five assists. Sean Kilpatrick had 21 points on 8 for 12 shooting. Bojan Bogdanovic scored 18 points for the which Nets have lost 10 of their last 11 games.
