JOHN Wall had 29 points and 11 assists, Bradley Beal scored 25 points to lead the Wizards past the Detroit Pistons, 122-108, for its fourth straight home win on Friday in Washington (Saturday, Manila time).
The Wizards enjoyed a good shooting night from Wall who made all four of his three point attempts while Otto Porter went 3-for-4 beyond the arc.
Both teams were tied 27-all at the end of the first period before Washington outscored Detroit 68-50 in the next two quarters and led by as many as 24 points in the last period.
Marcin Gortat grabbed 14 rebounds to go along with 12 points for Washington (11-13) which won its second straight game.
Otto Porter chipped in 15 points and eight boards. Markieff Morris and Marcus Thornton added 11 points apiece.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 24 points for Detroit which dropped to .500 with a 14-14 record. Jon Leuer added 17 points and seven rebounds and Andre Drummond chipped in 13 points and 12 rebounds.
