DEANDRE Ayton has yet to play an NBA game, but has already gained a critic in a fellow big man.
Joel Embiid refused to be compared to the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s rookie draft, saying he plays defense.
Embiid, the Philadelphia 76ers cornerstone, posted his comment on Twitter after hearing about Ayton’s defense capabilities – or questions about it – following his name being called by Phoenix on Friday, Manila.
Don’t compare Ayton to me either... I play DEFENSE
