JIMMY Butler could rejoin the Minnesota Timberwolves, after all – for the time being.
While the Wolves are still weighing offers from teams pursuing him in a trade, Butler plans to suit up for the team at the start of the regular season if he is healthy.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported the development on Thursday, Manila time, saying Wolves coach Tom Thibodeau is still eager to get Butler back to the team once he recovers from his wrist injury.
Sources: Barring a trade, Tom Thibodeau is still determined to get Butler back with the team for start of season. Butler hasn't made a final decision on when he'll join team and practice, but he doesn't plan to miss regular season games if his wrist is healthy. https://t.co/iQypvZ88ad
