THE Bulls took charge in the third quarter and held off a Washington Wizards side missing John Wall, 106-96, on Saturday in Chicago (Sunday, Manila time).
Jimmy Butler led the way as the Bulls broke away from the Wizards with a 28-14 third quarter, en route to their sixth win in 10 games.
Butler had 37 points on 11 of 23 shooting, Nikola Mirotic added 17 and Dwyane Wade scored 14.
The Wizards lost their second straight game and seventh in nine outings.
Markieff Morris scored 24 points to the lead the Wizards.
Wall was held out of the game after playing heavy minutes the in a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Bradley Beal, meanwhile, was out for the second straight game with a hamstring injury.
