FORMER PBA star Jimmy Alapag is moving up to the NBA as part of Mike Brown's coaching staff as the Sacramento Kings' player development coach.
Alapag, 45, made the announcement on his official social media pages on Saturday, thanking the Kings organization for what he said was a 'dream come true.'

Before joining the Kings' staff, the former PBA MVP and Gilas Pilipinas captain served as an assistant coach of Bobby Jackson in Sacramento's G League affiliate Stockton Kings.
His coaching career actually started in the Philippines, where he served as deputy coach of Gilas and at Meralco and the San Miguel Beermen in the PBA.
The former TNT star guard also coached San Miguel's team in the Asian Basketball League. He made the decision to move to the US after the ABL's season was cancelled due to the global pandemic.
