IT’S five-on-five and all about teamwork, and Jeremy Lin gladly shared his thoughts about the game and gave advice to kids.
He was talking about Dota, by the way, not basketball.
The Hornets playmaker joined the analysts’ panel at the 2015 International Dota 2 Championships on Monday (Tuesday, Manila time).
“It’s all about teamwork, it’s all about guys doing their role… stuff like that where guys play their roles perfectly, that’s exactly what it’s like in the pros,” said Lin.
The tournament offers millions of dollars in prizes and the former Knicks also gave an advice to kids earning a lot early.
“Just take everything slow… I alwas tell everybody there is a small window that you can really count on to make whatever income and you just have to make sure that you spend it the right way to be able to take care of you and you and your family the rest of the way.”
